About the Artist

Cyndilou is our Artist!

My name is Cyndilou. I have been an artist all my life.

I live in the Atlanta, GA area with my husband of 24 years and 3 kids, Mindy-20, Hanna-16, Kevin- 13.

I currently work at Publix Supermarket, where I paint signs (like GRAPES $1.29 LB.) and create displays. At home, our sunroom is my studio. I love crafting and painting in different styles and media. I have an education in fashion, but creating unique 3-diamentional novelty items is my passion. I particularly like making one-of-a-kind accouterments from the trash or giving items a new off beat use. I don’t have a particular style, but I tend to be light, cute and kitschy. I like different subject matters, but lean toward every-day, child-like themes. (This comes from my experience with gift store painting of Personalizing during college.) I am a skilled artisan that creates whimsical boutique style gifts withfine craftsmanship. These "artwear" treasures are unusual, handcrafted, and functional. My designs, whether handbag or a men’s component, portray a scents of light-hearted effervescence.  I am inspired by accessory designer, Mary Frances. I use fun colors and designs, to make beautiful accessories that you will be proud to purchase and wear. My goal is to show the world my colorful works of art that compels the viewer say "WOW"!
